It looks like “Teen Mom OG” star Amber Portwood is getting some help from MTV. The network allegedly paid four months of Amber’s rent, including her security deposit and application fee for her home in Ingalls, Indiana,Radar Online reported on May 7.
According to the report, MTV wire transferred nearly $6,000 directly to Realty Wealth Advisors LLC to cover the costs of Amber’s home. However, that didn’t last long and last month the “Teen Mom OG’ star was slapped with an eviction lawsuit.
However, the case was dismissed two weeks later after sources reveal that Amber Portwood paid her back rent, which included late fees for November and December of 2014. The report states that Amber then got back on track in January and February with her rent payments, but that in March her check for the amount of $1,150 bounced which allegedly angered the reality firm and prompted them to file the eviction lawsuit.
Source claim that Amber Portwood believes the firm made a big deal over nothing and that they just wanted to use her name to gather publicity for their business.
Meanwhile, some fans are questioning if Portwood’s live-in fiance, Matt Baier, 43, is helping her pay the rent on the house that he shares with the “Teen Mom” or if Amber’s footing the bill all on her own with her MTV money.
Fans recently watched Amber and Matt share their relationship on “Teen Mom OG” after the reality star claimed she met Matt on Twitter and talked to him on the phone for hours before agreeing to meet him. When Matt asked Amber to marry him Portwood’s family were supportive of her happiness, but also worried that she and her new man were moving way too fast.
