According to the report the “Teen Mom” has been going to church to help her deal with the mess that has become her personal life.
It’s been a rough year for Leah Messer-Calvert as she’s been dealing with financial stress from the mounting hospital bills of her daughter, Ali, fighting a custody battle against her ex-husband, Corey Simms, accused of being addicted to prescription medication, and of course allegedly cheated on her husband, Jeremy Calvert, with her former boyfriend Robbie Kidd.
Although the “Teen Mom 2” star says she did not cheat, and she is not addicted to pills, she and Jeremy are on the rocks and being around her daughters and in church is helping Leah Messer raise her spirits.
“She’s started going to a church that embraces forgiveness and recovery. She’s determined to make a complete turnaround,” a source close to the 22-year-old mother of 3 revealed.
The “Teen Mom 2” star was recently spotted at the Sissonville Community Church in Charleston, West Virginia where the pastor, who is recovering addict, preached about substance abuse.
“He said that bad habits like drugs, sex and alcoholism can be broken when one finds Jesus. Leah was nodding her head in agreement the entire time,” a witness dished. “It seemed to really hit home for her.”
Leah Messer-Calvert is obviously trying to become a better person, and if she can find healing and hope in the church then perhaps she can turn all the negative in her life around and spin it into something positive for herself and her three daughters.
