Jenelle Evans’ latest arrest for heroin and assault could be the final nail in the “Teen Mom 2” coffin. Although the show hasn’t officially been canceled yet, this could be the straw that breaks MTV’s back when it comes to the reality series.
Jenelle, who was arrested along with her husband, Courtland Rogers on Tuesday, may have just killed the “Teen Mom 2” franchise just when the story lines were getting interesting.
Jenelle Evans had gotten married, pregnant, suffered a miscarriage, and now relapsed with her heroin addiction, Leah Messer gave birth to another daughter with husband, Jeremy Calvert, Kailyn Lowry is a newlywed, who is also allegedly pregnant, and Chelsea Houska is following her dreams while dealing with the fact that baby daddy Adam Lind is expecting another child with his current girlfriend.
“This ruined any chance of a season five. All she had to do was complete one more week of therapy and [MTV was] going to start filming again,” a source told E! Online of the possibility of another season of “Teen Mom 2.”
Now, it seems after four years of mini drama, just when the girls lives are at their turning points, MTV could cancel “Teen Mom 2,” because of Jenelle Evans recent arrest, and the fact that she has a year of jail time hanging over her head.
