“Teen Mom” star Jenelle Evans husband, Courtland Rogers, plead guilty to two counts of assault on Monday, E! Online reports.
“Courtland Rogers pleaded guilty to one count of assault on a female and one count of battery on an unborn child and received 24 months’ supervised probation,” Jenelle’s attorney Dustin Sullivan revealed, adding that “Courtland was relieved to have it behind him.”
Jenelle and Courtland called their marriage quits after the assault, and Evans’ reportedly miscarried their unborn child. However, the couple reconciled, and are currently working on their marriage.
Jenelle Evans was present during the court hearing, and has made it more than clear on Twitter that she’s standing behind her husband during this time.
Fans seem torn about Jenelle’s decision to reconcile with Courtland. Many believe that if he did assault her that she shouldn’t have gone back to him, while others think it’s good the couple are working on their marriage.
